So beautiful I could cry....

Yes....I'm talking about Sweet Potatoes, mixed with spinach and red onions. I'm not kidding you people, this nearly had me in tears (okay so maybe I might be pmsing and a little extra emotional...but still, these colors are beautiful!). Tonight was the first night all week I have been able to come home and cook and move slowly and it was simply divine.

It's lovely to have a life full of wonderful things to do and people to be with, but it's also lovely to have nothing to do at all.

Sarah, I just saw your question for me. Sorry it took me so long! Okay, so I am always excited when someone wants to go natural!! I have plenty of tips for you!!!

First, we clean everything with vinegar! Half vinegar half water in a spray bottle cleans almost anything beautifully! You can use it for floors, glass, stainless steel, even wood, bathrooms, whatever! When we need something a little more powerful we reach for our handy trader joe's next to godliness dishwasher detergent, which is chemical free and works great on the sink or a icky toilet!

If you want to make the switch with the products you use for you like make up and shampoo etc. let me know!!! :) I have found some awesome stuff!

Wow, I sound like a commercial! You would think I get some kind of commission or something :)! I just love sharing what I know I guess!

oooh Lisa - you ROCK and I would LOVE your make-up/shampoo recommendations too!

Have you ever used the brand Meyer for soaps and stuff?

Color is beautiful! And yes, pmsing will make a girl cry over just about anything! :)

Believe it or not even a brand like Meyer can still have tons of harmful chemicals. There is this website called skin deep. You can google it and you can type in the products that you use and they rate them from 0-10 and you will be shocked!!!!

I will be back in a bit to tell yu what I use. Baby crying :)

I am baaack! Okay, so this whole adventure can be a little overwhelming! But what I like about it, is that everything is ultra simplified. The whole family uses the same products and I don't get woooed :) by Bath and Body works anymore! For body wash we use this soap from Whole Foods called EO, we use the lemon. Then for shampoo and conditioner (also at WHole Foods) we use Earth Science we use the color treated and the citrus ones. The color treated is super soft and the citrus is a little lighter. I love it as much as the proffesional stuff I was buying before. For hand soap we use Trader Joes next to godliness. Then for my favorite product again at Whole Foods is the most amazing lotion EVER! It is uncented which I thought would bother me...but I love it! I use it on my face and my legs and arms etc. :) It's by Avalon Organics and it's the Aloe Vera unscented. Trust me it's like silk!

Phew, the make up can be a little more frustrating because it's hard to find any in stores that are completely legit :)! There are some regular drug store brands that you can look up on skin deep that you can get a few things from. On the website, there is a brand called Zosimos and I finally last weekend ordered their make up and I love it!! They will send you some samples to try first. Well that should get you started!! Annie and Sadina are probably making fun of me to death!!! :)))

Lisa - You rock my world! Thank you so much for all the tips!! I will have to check out the bath/body section at Whole Foods next time I am there! I love how into it you are and I love that I get to glean all this knowledge from your experience!

Thank you for taking the time to write that response!! I hope you are having a lovely weekend!
