P.S.

I couldn't resist sharing a pic of my new cloth napkins that I am in love with - they're at Cost Plus right now for $2.99 a piece, I love the patterns so much, I want a dress in each pattern!

And, I couldn't resist sharing pics of the jarring tools that Joe and I got today - let the jarring adventures begin!!

Jars, Funnel, Jar Removing pliers, and a magnetic lid lifter.

The great big, huge jarring pot.

The jar rack on the inside of the pot.

I'm doing a little research on this jarring madness and eve bought a book about it - oh brother what am I getting myself into here? Ball Book of Home Preserving.
And I've been reading up on Pioneer Woman's website - Canning 101 and Strawberry Jam and Strawberry Jam: Part II.

A couple weeks back Lindsey heard a bit on NPR about canning/jarring and sent it to me - check it out - http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=129402166 - I especially like the part about the popping noise that the jars make when they're sealed - can't wait for that!

I heart those napkins! They are simply lovely!

I have a good friend that cans just about everything on her vast property. She made the yummiest apple butter for me last year. Sounds like such rewarding work!
