More to come, but for now, let's just say...

...Hallelujah for these beautiful faces and these beautiful places!

I can't believe the thought of not going to Tahoe even crossed my mind mid-week amidst the madness of basketball playoffs and apartment hunting. It's truly amazing just how refreshing a quick weekend away with good friends can be. A day without a computer or access to any of the things that usually keep me busy, busy, busy was just what I needed to unwind after a couple of months of pure craziness.

Chillaxin' on the couch after a day of skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing- or if you are me -- just sitting around the cabin reading.

Makin' some challah french toast while Joe brews his 756th pot of coffee for the morning :).

Oh beautiful snowy trees.

Hey-lo :)

Harmonica Jam Session on our way outta town -- the leavin' Tahoe blues were definitely in full effect.

Check out Max's rockstart jump, love it!

Me, a chair, a sunny drive way, a cuppa chai and a book = BLISS

More chai and more reading.

Oooh, where'd you go?! Tahoe, Truckee...??

Okay, I completely l-o-v-e that pic of the book with the cuppa somethin' next to it! Pure perfection! :)

Sadina - we went to Tahoe! I only saw the lake a couple times because I was too busy being a lazy bum in the cabin, but boy was it blissful! And yes, the chai and book made me want to cry - I was just so happy to be nothing but sippin' tea, kickin' my feet up and reading a book.

Sarah!!! You drove right past me on the freeway!!! Did you like Roseville (hee hee)? Next time, you and that boy of yours need to pop in for a visit!

So happy for you and your weekend away! It never fails on a Sunday afternoon I see the bay area crowd headed back down the hill. Tahoe is so spectacular and we are so close and don't take advantage nearly enough! I too loved your picture of your chai and your book!
